Aaron Hocking

Aaron Hocking is an Operations Manager for Dakota, where he manages the maintenance, procurement, and inventory systems of the equipment and truck fleet.  He graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science in 2004.

Early in his career, Aaron became the Operations Director and Chief Operating Officer of two ecological restoration firms in the Midwest.  After this, he used his experience with wetlands and natural areas to excel as an Area Manager, planning and executing access projects for large utility companies.

Aaron enjoys exploring nature, climbing mountains, hiking, fishing, and hunting.  He also uses his experience working on equipment to mentor the local school district’s middle school and high school robotics teams.
