Phil Zazzera

Director of EHS

Phil Zazzera brings over two decades of experience in Construction Management and Environmental, Health, and Safety. His extensive background spans various industries: commercial, residential, telecommunications, healthcare, solar, marine, and heavy civil infrastructure. Phil has worked on projects across the United States and Puerto Rico, leading safety initiatives with a proactive and hands-on approach that prioritizes people and performance.

Phil holds a Master of Science in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Montclair State University, and a Construction Management Certification from Rutgers University. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), an OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer, and maintains multiple certifications through the NYC Department of Buildings and FDNY.

A respected leader in the safety community, Phil currently serves as President of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Suncoast Chapter and as Area Director for ASSP Region IV in South Florida. His leadership philosophy centers on servant leadership, continuous improvement, and empowering individuals at all levels to embrace safety as a core value.

Outside work, Phil enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and scuba diving. He also proudly served as a firefighter and lieutenant with the Verona Fire Department in New Jersey for over two decades.
