Socrates Constance

Socrates brings a mix of public and private accounting experience where he has successfully led organizations ranging from $20 million to over $1 billion in revenue. He brings 15+ years of experience, working in the telecommunication engineering, ocean marine transportation, and construction infrastructure arena.

Prior to joining Dakota Matting, Socrates served as the controller of a private equity backed midsize engineering and construction firm, where he streamlined processes and procedures, managed relationships with lenders and vendors, and worked with mergers and acquisitions. Past roles held include accounting manager for Seaboard Corporation’s Marine division. He also worked in MasTec Inc.’s Internal Audit group as well as executing financial statement audits for national public accounting firm Crowe Horwath in various sectors such as construction, agricultural, and retail.

Socrates is a certified public accountant and is a graduate of Florida International University with a bachelor’s and a master’s in accounting.
