Victor Montilla is a seasoned leader in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and a dedicated U.S. Army Officer with over a decade of leadership experience across diverse sectors, including construction, manufacturing, maritime, and logistics. A proud graduate of Clemson University, Victor’s academic background is complemented by his certification as a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), highlighting his deep expertise in environmental risk management.
As the Director of EHS for Dakota, he oversees all occupational and environmental risk functions across the United States, demonstrating his steadfast commitment to safety and sustainable business practices. His professional journey includes significant roles such as HSS&E Regional Manager at Crowley Maritime and the EHS Enterprise Leader at global manufacturer BorgWarner Automotive, where he strategically enhanced operational excellence and compliance. Furthermore, his extensive service as an engineering officer has enriched his leadership qualities, notably through his involvement in managing large-scale construction projects.
Victor is passionate about making a difference in the EHS field, proving to be a valuable asset to Dakota. Outside the office, he enjoys family time with his wife, Natacha, and their children, Luca, and Mila.
